On the 29th of December 2018, in the town of Nkwerre, Imo State, families, friends and well-wishers gathered to celebrate the union of Nancy Anyiam-Osigwe, a lawyer and the daughter of Pride Magazine Nigeria’s publisher Charles Anyiam-Osigwe and Chiemezie Ekenji, a lawyer at K.T. Turaki Chambers heading the Criminal Litigation Department.
Nancy was well supported by her amiable family – the Osigwe-Anyiam-Osigwe clan – who made the event a colourful occasion. Nancy’s sisters in particular were dressed in floral dresses of different colours, and accompanied the beautiful bride to greet her in-laws and guests. Nancy’s brothers, including Pride Magazine’s very own Chukwuemeka Anyiam-Osigwe a.k.a Mr Rare and Debonair, continued the family tradition by wearing their customary white, styled in contemporary variants.
The Nkwerre community came out in full force to support their daughter. Chiemezie’s family from Ezeagu Local Government, Enugu State also came in full force to support their son, and welcome their new daughter. Everyone is now looking forward to the church wedding ceremony, which we are certain will also be a glamorous affair, grounded in the celebration of love and family.
