The labors of our heroes past shall never be in vain, but for a while now we have been covered by an overcast and beaten by the rain. How long do we have to wait for sunlight and clear skies so that the super eagle can once again take flight?
The eagle once flew all the way to Atlanta and back to the groundnut pyramids where it alighted.
Then to took off once more to survey rubber plantations which once fueled the thriving automobile industry- this now seemingly lost in the annals of history. Still journeying east, the eagle stopped to refuel its tank with wine tapped from the palm that produced numerous products like oils, furniture and brooms. Now swept away suddenly scrapped.
The winds of hope suddenly blew west and our eagle set out once again on another quest. In search of the finest cocoa used to make products like Richoco. In this land cocoa is legal tender that bankrolled free education for the Oduduwa nation.
Then the winds blew once more but this time it blew south-south. This time the eagle took off with hesitation for the winds blew with guile, yet all previously visited regions were suddenly in alignment like soldiers in a rank and file.
On the banks of the Niger Delta lay a substance dark and viscous. Sticky in its raw form just like mucous but apparently it was meant to enhance us. The substance needed purification by fractional distillation but in purifying it we became corrupted by its inherent darkness and fractured in more ways than the products it derives. Suddenly our problems became worse than a polygamous home with many wives.
It was there the eagle was grounded. Hoping one day to fly again and fly it shall for the eagle comes from a nation whose children are resilient and innovative. These shall be the winds that would make our eagle soar- into the digital age and be once more a force to be reckon with on the global stage.
Hello sunshine!
