It was the pleasure of well-known personalities to attend the launch of Kome Otobo‘s book, interestingly titled ‘Nigerian Gods,’ on Saturday 15 October 2022. Pride Magazine Nigeria was equally represented in the person of Chukwuemeka Anyiam-Osigwe, our public relations and strategy director.
Published by Malthouse Press Limited, the book is an enlightening and sobering review of the impact of the introduction of the three main Abrahamic religions on Nigeria’s traditional religions, culture, and way of life, using the perspectives of its eleven largest and two of its smallest ethnic groups.
The event, hosted in a beautiful garden in Victoria Island, was well-attended by esteemed personages from varying sectors, including Media, Law, Academia, Architecture, Politics, Education and Technology. Below are memorable scenes from the event.
