On July 18th 2018, the world commemorated Mandela Day. It would have been Nelson Mandela’s 100th birthday had he been alive. The UN General Assembly declared Mandela Day in November 2009 in recognition of Mandela’s contribution to the culture of peace and freedom.
When he was alive, Nelson Mandela walked the talk, and it was a long hard road to freedom.
We leave you with one of his wise quotes to reflect on, and hope that you continue to remain encouraged and brave as we walk this path of accountability into the future that we crave for our country, Nigeria.
“Those who conduct themselves with morality, integrity and consistency need not fear the forces of inhumanity and cruelty.” – Nelson Mandela (18 July 1918 – 5 December 2013)
