Luyeni
When you see me talk about my Pride,
Talk about my Pride that I know;
You will see me tell you something good,
Everything that makes me feel cool.
I will ride on the tide,
That’s so high by my side,
I will surf without my guide;
I would feel very proud,
Because I’ve got that great shroud,
Of that great man death could not hold.
When you see me talk about my Pride,
Talk about my Pride that I know;
You will see me tell you something good,
Everything that makes me feel cool.
I belong to our race,
That’s so rare you can trace,
All our faces all round the world.
We are black and proud,
Yet our hearts are so bright,
Filled with bright lights to lit up the whole world.
When you see me talk about my Pride,
Talk about my Pride that I know;
You will see me tell you something good,
Everything that makes me feel cool.
See me talk about my Pride,
I would feel very proud,
I belong to a race,
With bright hearts like Jesus Christ.
