Mr Lawrence Okpako is the CEO/Co-founder of RewardsNG, a new e-commerce organisation in Nigeria. He is a very passionate and experienced sales, marketing and management professional with 19 years’ worth of experience in several sectors of the Nigerian economy. He has worked in several local and multinational organisations, including Union Bank Plc, Sea Trucks Group, DHL International, Airtel Nigeria and Globacom Ltd.
Mr Okpako has managed large and great teams, and successfully driven high sales volume, revenue and profitability in billions of naira in previous roles such as Key Accounts Consultant, SME Manager, Area Manager, State Manager, Regional Manager and Business Director in the very competitive and dynamic Telecoms/ICT market in Nigeria. He is piloting RewardsNG with the aim of empowering and creating wealth for millions of stakeholders in various e-commerce/online markets. The platform is the first of its kind in the Nigerian and African market due to its unique selling point (USP) – which is about Rewards and Empowerment reflected in their iBuy, iSell, iRefer, iEmpower concept.
He holds master’s degrees in International Law & Diplomacy, Marketing and Business Administration from top universities in Nigeria. He has also attended several local and international seminars and courses in entrepreneurship, leadership, project management, people management, strategy and multi-level marketing at Harvard Business School, USA, Project Management College, UK, Glenridge Consulting Group, USA, LBS-Pan African University, Phillips Consulting, among others. He is an FICM-MCN accredited Dispute Resolution Expert, and a fellow of several professional institutes.
