Movie lovers can attest that watching movies is a fun activity. they do so to unwind and relax. After a stressful week, a good way to stay in tune with life would be to watch a nice movie. It is a good hobby that can remove boredom and spice up the holiday.
There are different categories of movies from animation to horror to adventure- you name it. On Throwback Thursday, we take a look at some of our favourite Hollywood movies of all time. Let’s dive in:
1. Alvin and the Chipmunks
Alvin and the Chipmunks, originally David Seville and the Chipmunks or simply The Chipmunks, are an American animated virtual band and media franchise first created by Ross Bagdasarian for novelty records in 1958. The group consists of three singing animated anthropomorphic chipmunks named Alvin, Simon, and Theodore who are originally managed by their human adoptive father, David “Dave” Seville.
2. The Sound of Music
Maria, an aspiring nun, is sent as a governess to take care of seven motherless children. Soon her jovial and loving nature tames their hearts and the children become fond of her.
3. Jumanji
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is a 2017 American fantasy adventure comedy film directed by Jake Kasdan, co-written by Chris McKenna, Erik Sommers, Scott Rosenberg, and Jeff Pinkner, and starring Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Nick Jonas, and Bobby Cannavale. It is the third installment of the Jumanji franchise, after Zathura: A Space Adventure (2005), and a direct sequel to Jumanji (1995), which was based on the 1981 children’s book of the same name by Chris Van Allsburg.
4. Fast and Furious
Fast & Furious is a media franchise centered on a series of action films that are largely concerned with street racing, heists, spies, and family. The franchise also includes short films, a television series, toys, video games, live shows, and theme park attractions.
5. Home alone
Eight-year-old Kevin is accidentally left behind when his family leaves for France. At first, he is happy to be in charge, but when thieves try to break into his home, he tries to put up a fight.
