It’s very easy to talk about being accountable. It’s very easy for one to say, “I’m accountable.” But when you make a mistake and you need to pay for it, often times it turns out that demonstrating accountability is quite difficult. If you are accountable, you can’t hide behind anyone.

Sure, this is a scene that we are all too familiar with in Nigeria, but let’s not look at all the people doing it; let’s start getting it right with ourselves. Let’s start exhibiting leadership with guts – whether at home, work, church, or our local communities.
