Hajia Bola Shagaya who is one of the closest friends of Dame Patience Jonathan has also joined the league of proud owners of private jet. The billionaire mostly referred to as Dame of Commerce recently launched the expensive Gulfstream G650 estimated to be worth $65m.
According to sources close to the woman of substance who has equally grown to become the strongest PDP stalwart in Kwara State, the private jet was her birthday gift. She’s the fourth Nigerian woman to own a private jet.
Hajia Bola Shagaya MON (born on the October 10, 1959) is a Nigerian businesswoman and fashion enthusiast. She is married to Alhaji Shagaya, a Kwara State-based transport mogul, and has four children. She had her secondary school education at Queens School, Ilorin, and her tertiary education at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and Armstrong College in California, where she studied economics and accountancy.
