With controversies surrounding Canadian export Drake from being wrongly accused of sleeping with Karrueche to his getting punched by one-time HipHop’s richest, Diddy, it appeared no one could share the headlines with him, but 7/11 by Beyonce still could not be held down. After trending on social media and with listeners it appears Beyonce who is hiphop’s second highest earner after Dr Dre remains strong. It is number one on MMM’s Songs of the week. Like we say here in Nigeria, “Congrats Mama Blue”!

Someone saw the success of “Prince of Egypt” and “Passion of the Christ” and decided to give us the Moses story from another angle and with a budget of $140 million USD the box office can be revived after a disappointing last weekend number! Don’t raise an eyebrow as it concerns the budget, “do you think parting the red sea is cheap?” And if you think this movie will be watched only by Christians ask yourself who watched “Passion of the Christ”, “the Davinci Code”, et al. This Christmas is definitely made for all, because this movie will not kill the box office with its cinema figures, but all-through the holidays!
