Ace Nollywood actor and comedian, AY Makun, has reacted to the current situation of the country. He expressed fears regarding the economic hardship affecting all sectors.
In a social media post, AY Makun lamented that despite growing up with the hope that “Nigeria go better,” things seem to be worsening, even now in his fifties.
He pointed the daily struggles of Nigerians and how their incomes were insufficient to cover basic living costs. His post read, “Nigeria go better us what one grew up hearing. I’m still hearing it in my fifties. What kind of Groundhog Day existence do we live in in this country, though? The more things seem to change, they remain the same.”
The father of two captioned the post “How many of us do have wages more than sufficient enough to cover the bare cost of living in Nigeria?”
The veteran comedian stated that the economic hardship is facing all as actors and actresses seek public assistance in one form or the other to survive.
He joins popular entertainers like P-Square, Area Fada-1 and others who have also expressed their concerns about the economic hardships of the country.
