Online plus size fashion retailer, Dearcurves recently launched its capsule collection – Nojima. The collection features both ready-to-wear and made-to-order pieces which fulfill the brand’s commitment to size inclusivity and sustainability. The brand’s long-term vision is to ensure women have access to beautifully created and sustainably sourced products.
Dearcurves founder, Ojoma Idegwu, told the BBC: “ We are entering new markets by working in partnership with carefully selected marketplaces in countries, where we’ve identified sustained demand for our products in extended sizes.”
The collection reinforces the brand’s minimalistic essence, and features designs aimed at its target audience and source of inspiration: plus size women who luxuriate in streamlined aesthetics. Ready-to-wear pieces start from UK size 14, while the made-to-order pieces go up to UK size 32.
Since its founding in 2013, Dearcurves has continued to reinvent the plus size silhouette. Its pieces have been worn by award-winning artist Jazmine Sullivan, Oscar-nominated actress Gabourey Sidibe, and featured in US hit television series Empire.
