My Dear Daughter,
The ongoing deadly Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) has changed the world, as we know it. The news from all over the world is scary. Millions have lost their jobs, and many live in fear for their health and what may lie ahead in these uncertain times.
My dear girl, one thing you should be sure to do in these uncertain times is to take control of your thoughts and imaginations. The human mind is wonderful. It can run away with itself in different directions with all kinds of images. In this time of isolation and uncertainty due to the pandemic, pay close attention to how your mind is imaging.
Many fears are born out of fatigue and loneliness. Take hold of your thoughts and be sure to “Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” –Philippians 4:8. Do not let your imagination run away with you because “This too shall pass.” This quote serves to remind us all that regardless of all that has happened in one’s life, and how it has played out in our life, it will soon pass. The only constant in life is change. Therefore my dear daughter “be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might” – Ephesians 6:10
‘For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.” 2 Timothy 1:7
Remain blessed.
Love you.
Dad.
