Guinness Nigeria Plc is set to expand its retail outlets in the country, using its newly-introduced Retail Loyalty Programme (RLP) otherwise dubbed Guinness Collabo. This development, which was made known at the 2014 Guinness National Sales and Distributors’ Conference held in Lagos recently, is expected to begin with 9,200 retail outlets in the country.
Mr Seni Adetu, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Guinness Nigeria Plc, disclosed that the previous year was tough but that with the new partnership, “we are going into the new year with a winning mentality. We intend to expand the capacity for our new brands and also to improve delivery time to distributors once you have placed your orders. We are going to support you, but you have to believe that you have the confidence to win.”
For Mr Femi Folarin, an executive of the company, “We are already working in partnership with the distributors in Lagos to map out the market; this will later expand to the rest of the country. They are already being assisted with the necessary facilities.”
