Actions speak louder than voice. When it comes to love relationship, your actions tell your partner how you value them in your lives. Below are ways to tell your partner that you care for them without saying so much words:
1. Be an active listener
There is a big difference between hearing and actively listening. Listening is something you consciously choose to do. A good listener pays attention with the intention of understanding the other person. This involves not just passively absorbing what the other person is saying. Good listeners also pay attention to how their significant other is telling them something. Body language may reveal more about how they are feeling then what they are saying. By being an active listener, you are showing your partner. that you are really interested in how they feel.
2. Making time for them
You really wanted to go with your friends, but you realize it has been a couple of weeks since you and your patner have spent quality time together. You may feel like your missing out but compromising to make time for your partner shows them how much you care. A healthy relationship gives each person room to pursue their interests while also creating time for each other.
3. Send random cute messages
Sending funny GIFs, cute emojis, or just random sweet messages such as “Thinking of you” or “Hey beautiful, hope you are having a great day” is a cute way to show your partner they are on your mind.
4. Public Display of Affection
We are not talking about over-the-top displays of affection here, a nice little hand squeeze or a peck on the cheek or hugs is all you need to show your partner that you care without overly making the people around you uncomfortable.
5. Be your partner’s loudest cheerleader
Is your partner working hard for that promotion? Have they been working on a project that they are passionate about? Be supportive of their aspirations and encourage them with your words and actions. Do you have a particular skill that could help propel your partner project forward? Offer to help. When you encourage and support your partner in their goals, you show them that you want to see them do well and care about their happiness.
