My Dear,
Weight gain is usually a result of eating too much food, especially the unhealthy kind. I understand your struggle. It is mentally and physically draining trying to gain control of your weight to no avail. And worse, when you have a husband who wants you to lose weight but doesn’t offer the emotional support and encouragement needed to see that you succeed.
Now, not only are you eating the wrong kinds of food, your mental state has forced you to turn to emotional eating, which has worsened your weight problem. I am sure you are aware that obesity attracts health risks. My advice is for you to think about yourself first; forget your husband and your children.
Do you know the lyrics of the song, The Greatest Love? The part that says:
“I found the greatest
Love of all inside of me
The greatest love of all
Is easy to achieve
Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all.”
Do what it says; learn to love yourself first. Don’t think about it as losing weight for your husband; instead, think about it as doing something for your health. Don’t go on a diet, just start eating healthily. You can also seek the help of a dietitian to plan your food intake and make adjustments for a healthier lifestyle.
Follow these steps:
- Focus on loving yourself.
- Do what is right and best for you, your health, and your overall wellbeing.
- Stick to your resolve to be self-loving.
- Make sure you only eat the right kinds of food.
I believe with these steps, your weight and other problems associated with it will be a thing of the past. Good luck.
