Infact, if government were to tax them, the government would make huge revenue as they make income daily on prostitution. Here are the classes of prostitutes in Lagos and why I think they indulge in the act.
1-ARISTO GOLD: members of this class are usually found in highbrow areas like Ikoyi, Victoria Island and Lekki. They are lodged in 5-star hotels. Some of them usually wear the toga of “Celebrity Models” or “Nollywood actresses”, you may never have seen them on any run-way or a movie set but who are we to dispute what they call themselves? Their price per night ranges from N150, 000 to N1million. Sometimes, one may require credit card to access their services.
2-ARISTO CLASSIC: this group is very rampant on Nigerian campuses. They are usually seen as ushers at high profile events and at clubs. They are mostly contracted to Politicians by their agents. Their price per night standing ranges from N20, 000 to N50, 000.
3-THE SOCIAL MEDIA: this group is made up of undergraduates who don’t ply their trade on campus. They prefer away matches, mostly at the homes of their customers. They are very sharp and can steal. They are usually seen around beer parlours and eateries. They have a crazy love for Blackberry and Iphones. Their price per night standing ranges from N10, 000 to N20, 000.
4-THE MAKALELES: this group is made up of divorcees, widows and cheating housewives. Their price is very moderate and ranges from N5, 000 to 10, 000. They are usually very loyal and offer end of year bonus. Surulere , Lagos and Apo.
5-THE FUCKLICANTS: these are mostly secondary school leavers who are applicants. They usually betray their inexperience by their pricing patterns which range from N1, 000 to N5, 000. They love Indomie noodles and Facebook with a passion.
6-THE WRETCHED OF THE EARTH: this group includes drunkards and drug addicts. They can be laid even in a moving Danfo bus. They charge between N500 to N1, 000. They are usually seen around bus terminals. Mushin, Lagos and Oba Iweka, Onitcha are some of their major catchment areas.
