Our Man Crush Monday, Olusola (Sola) Osinoiki is a leading business leader in the IT and tech industry. He is currently the Vice President of Global People Technology at both Prosus Group and Naspers companies.
A graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, he obtained a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering. Upon graduation, he did his National youth service in Agbor Delta State then moved to the UK. This was about 30 years ago and his thirst for learning motivated him to hone his programming skills. Starting his career in IT, he then moved into consulting (working Accenture and PwC). He finally settled in industry-leading teams in the People Technology area.
Having over 25 years of Programme and Project Management experience and 18 years’ experience in global HR systems implementation and consulting experience, he has worked with major international clients. Being customer-oriented, he took up roles in business needs, providing them with transformational solutions.
He prides himself in Human Resources IT solutions including bespoke developments and off-the-shelf technology. As a client, implementer of services and technology, and a seasoned advisor, he is also an expert in the HR Technology and Data arena.
In his current role, Olusola works at Prosus, which operates and invests in over 130 countries to build leading companies with long-term growth potential that empower people and enrich communities. He helps businesses solve issues across the HR Lifecycle and enables the use of People Analytics and AI in HR. His expertise in this area has made him a regular speaker at global People Technology conferences around the world.
As the convener of Josh Leadership Academy, he is passionate about helping people maximize their careers and progress in the business. He is also an author of 5 books, which comprises Christian faith books and business books.
He currently resides in Germany with his wife and children. His other passions involve mentoring the next generation and traveling the world. Waoh, Sola was a classmate in the civil engineering department, University of Ile-Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University. Over five years we were classmates and brothers in the Evangelical Christian Union Fellowship. This guys was awesome, energetic, astute and laser focused. I am pleased to celebrate his achievement and wish him and hos wonderful family many more years of incredible impact to the social community of humanity
