The annual beauty pageant which held at the Expo hall of the Eko Hotel and Suites has produced a winner, Miss Chidinma Leilani Aaron. She was crowned the 42nd Miss Nigeria Beauty Pageant winner in the early hours on Monday, November 26th 2018 (which is today).
Chidinma, who is an intending chef and business administrator, currently in the National Youth Service Corps program emerged the winner after beating 12 other finalists.

Judged by an eleven-person panel, which included Nollywood Actress, Rita Dominic, Tatiana Moussalli, David Wej, Fade Ogunro, and Konye Nwabugor, Miss Chisom Olivia Duna emerged as the first runner-up while Miss Munirah Ameh came as second runner-up.
The winner was given 3 million naira, a car and other incentives to aid her in carrying out her new role hiccup-free. According to the organizers, her role isn’t merely ceremonial, but a job. “The Miss Nigeria position is a job and the title bearer actively champions causes that benefit and promote society. Our target areas are Education, Environment, Arts and Culture, Financial Management and Health.”
