Dracula Untold
I still will not understand the craze for vampire movies, but cinema goers tend to go wild when it comes to vampire movies, though Dracula untold has not been impressive with box office numbers like others, but we can’t take the fact that this movie ruled the cinemas in East Africa and nine other countries weekend numbers last week.
The pale master with fangs has been made famous by previous talents, but what we all expected once we learnt the story was about to be retold is a look from a better angle and with a $100 million USD, no one expected less. But I beg to say, Bram Stoker still did a better job. Truth is, “sometimes the world doesn’t need another hero!”
On a Scale of 0 – 10, this movie is a 5.5.
A letter from Adam
St. Wale Ojo, Lydia Forson, Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku, et al.
Most West Africans movies make it to the cinemas because of the storyline, and not for the production nor post-production, hence it is from this angle I am going to write about “A letter from Adam”. Wale Ojo made a name for himself via the comedy industry and this is the actor’s attempt at reestablishing himself in drama as always. The movie is a story of love, it is the story almost one in every four West African has experienced and if you have (or) not you will learn from this movie.
On a Scale of 0 – 10, this movie is a 4.5.
MUSIC
Steal my Girl
One Direction
Do not ask me why this song is not on Billboard’s Top 10 hottest, but goodnews is it ultimately sat on itunes’ number one spot (September, 2014). And yes, one of my favourite actors of all time, Danny De Vito’s making an appearance in the video! When this English-irish boy band’s music video prewmieres. Julian Bunnetta who co-wrote the song with Liam and Louis said, the song is about the English-irish boy band and their fans and the track also consciously talks to everyday people and their partners.
On a Scale of 0 – 10, this Song is a 7.5.
Love me
Olawale ft. Tiwa Savage
When this MTN project fame 6.0 winner took the road less travelled by releasing his debut album,”Almost famous” on itunes less than a year after hitting the limelight via MTN’s talent hunt I knew there was something his management saw that made them take this decision. So, when I decided to listen to Love me by the young ‘ear-ed’ artist featuring Tiwa Savage all that was in my head was, would he beat his performance with MAVIN’s first lady on the stage on Project fame. Here’s my verdict, the song is cool and a show of the future this boy has in the industry and if you loved the way he did “Love me, Love me” with Tiwa, then don’t waste time… get his album.
This boy has agin shown why he merits his number one status at Project fame 6.0 … and yes, before I forget his ears still reminds me of someone in the movie “LORD of the RINGS”… who? Your guess is as good as mine.
On a Scale of 0 – 10, this Song is a 5.1.

But the movie isn’t even in Nigerian cinemas? A letter from adam is still in Ghana. So how can you review and give it 4.5 I’m confused. Unless you watched.
