“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from me,” Isaiah 54:17.
Every person on earth irrespective of their gender or status faces various challenges and difficulties in life’s journey. These challenges and difficulties happen irrespective of how good a person we are or try to be. These life challenges and difficulties are a result of the enemy’s actions. Who is this enemy? The enemy is the devil, who is roaming the earth disrupting people’s lives. And most often, he works through our fellow human beings. Unfortunately, people permit the devil to take advantage of them through hurt, pain, ill will towards others, resentment and hatred. Satan uses people as weapons to implement his evil plans and schemes.
When meanness, hurt, abuse, exploitation, and disappointments confront us, we must realize that this is the devil machinating through his human vehicles to disrupt our lives. What is important for each and every one of us to realize is that when these weapons rise up against us, they will not and cannot prosper.
We must be on our guards, and not to let the actions of the devil through his human vehicles make us lose our trust and faith in God. To gain victory over the enemy’s actions, we must ensure that our thought process does not go in the direction of doubting God, and God’s purpose and destiny for our lives. We can rest assured that no matter how much the devil tries to disrupt our lives, it will not have a lasting and negative effect.
“If God be for us, who can be against us?” No matter what may come our way, our life is in God’s hands. The weapons might hurt us, cause us to fall, but they will not defeat us. No weapon formed against us shall prosper.
