In July, Kyrzayda, the Dominican style blogger, was one of our women crush on Wednesday. We chose the very stylish 40-year-old because of her great style and her work etiquette, and one thing that left a lasting impression on us was her ability and dedication to carry on working despite her fight with stage four stomach cancer.
She revealed early this month that she’ll be halting her chemotherapy treatment which she had been on since the discovery of the illness because it wasn’t yielding the expected results. Sadly, the sickness took a toll on her and it was announced on her page by her friend and assistant, Joanne, that she passed on Sunday the 9th of September at her home.
Kyrzayda has graciously used her social media platform to inspire everyone fighting cancer or any other challenge with the ability to take its toll on our bodies and mind. A day to her demise she made a live video on her Instagram page with her last words of advice that have left a lasting impact, blessing everyone who heeds her words.
