If music be the food of love, play on. – William Shakespeare.
Life can often be difficult. As you journey through life, you will experience so many ups and downs, highs and low. I wish that your life’s journey would be one of pleasantness as well as of peace, full of happy moments.
On the other hand, I am aware that life is not a bed of roses. One of the things I have relied on to smooth my emotions on my own life’s journey is music. It may pay you to do the same.
As Martin Luther said, “Next to the Word of God, the noble art of music is the greatest treasure in the world.”
Listen to music that evokes the different kinds of emotions in you. Music that cheers you up, the ones that put you in a reflective mood, music that makes you cry, and those that make you dance with joy. You will understand eventually that music is very good for the soul. Music can be a real sweet friend when nobody else quite understands you. It can assist you scream louder when you are angry, and cry harder when you find yourself sad.
My dear girl, music is among the best and few loyal friends you are going to ever have. It does not judge you or abandon you. Plus it does not mind being used. Go ahead, play the music girl!
