There are whispers here and there that a seemingly rift exists in the Afolayan’s family.
For a couple of days, it has been in the news that Veteran Nollywood actress, Toyin Afolayan, popularly known Lola Idije will be celebrating her 55th birthday in grand style, while her foundation named Lola Idije Foundation will also be launched alongside. The much awaited classy event took place on Sunday, November 2,2014 at the popular 10 Degree Events Centre, Billings Way, Ikeja Lagos, where thousands of guests including movie stars were in attendance.
But the popular children of the late Ade Love’s broods like Kunle, Aremu, Gabriel and Moji Afolayan were nowhere to be found at the 55years birthday of their aunty.
When Aremu Afolayan who is also an actor cum producer got wedded, Kunle was reported to be absent. Aremu claimed there was no issues to Kunle’s absence at his wedding then.
Toyin Afolayan has been into acting since early 80’s and still doing what she knows how to do best. She got into acting through her late brother actor cum producer, Ade Afolayan otherwise known as Ade Love( Kunle Afolayan’s father).
