Money is a great tool for life and entertainment. I guess it explains why some people have nagging headaches that cannot be cured by acetaminophen when strapped for cash. Some become a drag and can’t have fun, another group react to a bad pocket by being so edgy; they snap at the slightest tease and lose their sense of humour.
Sometimes we tend to think the more money one has, the better entertained one can be. It’s not always true. Although money gives you many options, one can still have fun on a low budget or no budget. Well, I found some great things on can enjoy on a limited budget. I must warn you though, some would burn off some energy but you’ll have fun.
1. Re-arrange the furniture. Check out ideas from blogs and magazines and move the furniture. Give the bedroom and living room a new look. You’ll love the new look.
2. Wash your car thoroughly by yourself. Wash your car, then your brother’s or neighbours’. Do that with loud upbeat music, a powerful hose and a friend or buddy willing to play some water games.
3. Can’t go to the cinemas? Draw the curtains, make the room cozy and have a movie marathon with friends; all night with snacks till the last person crashes into sleep.
4. Play video games. I can feel the energy rising already!
5. Invite some friends over and dance. Just dance hard and have some drinks.
6. Make your own jewelry with old beads, buttons or chains. It’s one helluva fun.
7. Be your make-up artist today. Try out different looks and take selfies.
8. Make a quilt from old t-shirts. I bet you won’t finished this in one day.
9. Do you have some baking ingredients? Then bake, take the cake over to some cake-lovers and have fun.
10. Create a scrap book or journal. Put your pictures in collages. Rearrange your pictures into albums.
11. Paint or sketch something. You never can tell who will like the piece of crap and pay for it.
12. Work out to an exercise DVD. You should buy one if you don’t have any.
13. Ask a question, no matter how silly on Quora. Some answers would make your day.
14. Create a bucket-list. Don’t be limitless in your imaginations and dreams, you will only live once.
15. Go window-shopping at almost every high-brow shop you wish you could buy from!
The list is endless, try out a DIY project, re-arrange your wardrobe, de-clutter, start a garden. Have fun anyway, don’t let money stop you.
