I’m a poet
A lover of words and imagination
I create my reality and my illusion, my fear and my hope
I paint my story with words
I paint yours with fiction
I write what I want you to see
I control what you see by what I write.
I’m a poet
A bloody cheat
My heart has been buried in my love for figures of speech
It has lost space for figures of man
I never meant any of the pieces I sent to you
Like the other 54 girls
You blushed and called me your honey
I’m a poet
A corrupt liar
Nothing I won’t do just to win your heart
I put pity in your eyes for me
That you may get me what I want
Then disappear into thin air
The mission accomplished.
I’m a poet
I can make the truth a lie
The lie a truth
I can keep you glued till the last line
Wondering my biggest secret
I’m a poet
I can control your heart with lies
The only truth about this piece
I’m a poet
I just lied again.
