Born out of an interplay between the moon and the sun are waves of which resilience is simply their essence. It carries a signature of the two entities from which it’s formed, such as the relentless nature of the scorching sun opposed to the quintessential nature of the calming moon.
Both are simply its credentials.
This newborn soon becomes a man as it overcomes cliffs and stiff rocks, which serve as its maturing trials.
Yet its relentless nature enables it to grow from strength to strength as these obstacles get bent on its rapturous assent which nothing can prevent.
The wave is agile for it bends and contorts into the shape of a cave with each movement one feels exhilarated just like a liberated slave.
Not to mention eye-opening just like the view from a church’s nave.
A natural phenomenon but when amplified comes across as Armageddon. Such are the emotions associated with tsunamis, which is capable of crippling a thousand armies. They are certainly alarming.
On the other hand, it can be peaceful, tranquil and calming.
Similar to the ambience associated with stories told under the moonlight.
Even known to guide the pens of poets, hence, can be called their inks’ light.
Inspiring indeed as they sowed this particular poetic seed for which I am well pleased.
