If a lady has ever had an emotional moment over your shoulder, you will understand what I’m about to say.
Like an infant, I held Sophie as she grabbed me so tightly with her blond hair covering half my face; her eyes as red as those of a prying lioness, her eyelids pathetically rested over her obviously shot out eye bags and her body was as warm as a helpless sick chicken.
It was barely six months ago. I could vividly picture her (in slow motion) running into Chidi’s arms at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport when he got back into the country after 3yrs abroad. I’d never seen Sophie as excited. I wasn’t jealous or envious but I was furious about their relationship from the onset. Chidi is a playboy and Sophie knew it. Several times, she’s caught him in bed with a slut but why she stuck with him was a sad puzzle I couldn’t rap my head around.
I knew this day would eventually come and I wasn’t wrong at all, just that, it came in a rather more twisted way; Sophie’s boss brought her a wedding invitation and guess what? You right!
I allowed her cry out the hurt for like 30mins without saying a word (that works, they said) then I laid her down softly on my big sofa while I pat her like a baby.
My body chemistry had started reacting to this sexy diva over my couch but I had to take caution so it won’t be like I took advantage of her, not just ‘her’ but my own friend. I’d never felt that way towards her but that evening was different. I guess there’s something about an emotional moment for a lady that I needed to learn.
Several times, her transparent white camisole over her lofty sumptuous boobs and very fair long thighs out of her short skirt would flash my eyes. I knew it was trouble coming as I couldn’t help myself any longer. Better worse, she drew me closer and held my hands around her tummy while she slightly turned bearing her hot a** right in front of ‘my front’. Need I tell you that position wasn’t fair? But then, guess what?
Tada! The door opened. It was Neil.
“What the hell!”
There was no explanation that I could render at that point, he flashed me one of those ‘I understand’ looks. Then chuckled and quietly walked back out.
But before he slammed the door, I saw that he actually came with someone. I rushed over to see who, and to my greatest surprise, it was Ivy; the lady I met at the night club of Orientals 3 weeks ago. I only saw her while they drove off.
Damn!!!
I sluggishly walked back to the sofa to find Sophie had fallen asleep.
*heavy sigh*
Then I thought; “what was Ivy doing here and why is she with Neil?”
I guess I’d find out.
