UN women’s right activist, Jaha Marie Dukureh has landed an ambassadorial deal to become ‘The New Face Of L’oreal’.
She would be joining the list of other accomplished actresses such actresses like Eva Longoria and Julia Roberts as the New Face of L’oreal
L’Oréal Paris recognized Dukureh as a Woman of Worth, five ago awarding her organization with funds to continue her good works. She is the first recipient of this award to become a L’oreal global brand ambassador. And this would make it her official L’Oréal Paris debut this year in the campaign for Color Riche, a beauty line.
Born in Gambia, 29-year-old Jaha Dukureh is passionate about ending the female genital mutilation (FGM) and child marriage she suffered as a girl. She is the founder of Safe Hands for Girls, a nonprofit organization designed to end the practices and provide a safe space for survivors.
