Imagine like Superman, you live an ordinary lifeduring the day, yet there is an extraordinary business man or woman inside of you busting to come out.
In the bustling world of business, when you step into a room, your vibration must command the atmosphere. That is how you get noticed and create a working synergy around you. Never be afraid to illuminate your light and shine your talents to the world. First impressions last, that is why in the first ten seconds of meeting a new person, you have made a judgement call about that individual based on their appearance, what they say and non-verbal cues.
The following are 5 ways that I personally have used to unleash my entrepreneurial spirit in business.
1 Confidently Savvy
Every stride you take must be bold and confident. Even when you feel uncertain fake it, to make it. Be self-confident and not arrogant in your approach to the corporate world.
2 Master Your Business Script
I suggest that you learn your best 60 seconds elevator pitch. If this is a new concept to you, it means you must explain in a short time the services your company provide. An example of this is ‘I am the Director of MPLOYME and deliver workshops to 16 – 24 year olds, who are currently unemployed’. It is concise and to the point, please practice your business script in your own time.
3 Be the Best You
People do business with you because of how you make them feel. There is no need to put on airs and graces, just simply be you. People tend to warm to those who appear genuine and authentic.
4 Focus and Determination is the Key
To unleash the entrepreneur within, you must keep going when you want to quit. Negative people have a way of discouraging your dreams, hopes and visions if you let them. Make sure you remove yourself from any hindrance. Create a plan of action and work towards your business goals diligently.
5 Hard as Nails
I have learned the hard way not to take disagreements in business personal. This was tough to begin with because as a writer, I naturally feel my emotions. However as my Advisor rightfully pointed out, if I am to take offence to everything that someone does wrong, I might as well leave the business arena. You must learn to let criticisms bounce off you and have nerves of steel.
Remember you are a powerful force to be reckon with, once you tap into your greatness, nothing can stop you. Never give up or give in, keep it moving.
