Gifted singer, Wande Coal whose real names are Oluwatobi Wande Ojosipe is staging a comeback to the industry. He is currently working on three new singles set to drop soon. We reliably gathered that the three songs will be ready before the end of this month.
After his departure from Mavin crew, he dropped ‘Baby Hello’ and he hit up more waves with a collaboration with flavour, before he went under.
The artiste himself confirmed the tale on Wednesday, November 5,2014.
Wande Coal was born in Lagos Island Nigeria to Chief Ibukun Olufunto and Mrs Omolara Oluwayemisi Ojosipe. He is the first of two children. Wande had his Primary school at staff Nursery and Primary school Ijanikin and Secondary education in Federal Government College Ijanikin Lagos State and headed on to University of to study Curriculum Studies. As a teenager, Wande started singing in the teenage choir at his church and was a professional dancer while in UNILAG.
He got signed to Don Jazzys Mo hits records in 2006.In 2007,he released his first single Ololufe with the Mo Hits All Stars compilation album,and released his first solo album Mushin 2 MoHits in 2008.In 2012 following a fallout between record label Executives Don Jazzy and D’banj, Wande Coal signed on to Don Jazzy’s new Record Label Mavin Records.Wande Coal is one artist who has won awards too many to count.
He parted ways with Marvin crew in 2013 to be independent. Since then his career nosedived but he is now staging a comeback.
