The prom tour started back in 2017, this is an initiative that was created to unite the Nigerian teens and their various schools through the celebrations of proms which is a culture in high schools all over the world, a formal celebratory event.
Jermaine Media has been involved in over 100 proms since 2017 to date in various schools eg . Rainbow college, SEF , STTR , Grace schools, Chrisland, etc. However, on review, we discovered the demand for a prom “event” cause some schools didn’t have prom this year but the students insist on going to prom.
We came up with the “ BTS prom event” which happened on the 24th of October 2021, this project is aimed at uniting the Nigerian teens from across various institutions for one purpose which is to celebrate prom which marks the last gathering/ official dinner before the teens move on to universities, usually, proms are done individually by schools but the aim of this event was to bring them all together.
The venue was Sea Lounge Lekki. This event was open to all graduating class of 2021, for all schools. They were treated to a luxury prom in attendance were students from various schools e.g Solid high, Grace schools , Dowen College, Caleb international schools, Homat international College, CKI etc
We had afro dance performances, cocktails were served, the musician who goes by the name “alpha p” performed. It was truly a night of glitz, glamour, and grandeur at the grand prom 2021. It’s an annual event so let’s anticipate grand prom 22.
