Our Woman Crush Wednesday, Amanda Obianuju Oguamanam serves as the Digital Marketing Manager at First City Monument Bank (FCMB), where she crafts and implements strategic digital marketing initiatives to amplify the bank’s online presence, elevate brand visibility, and drive customer acquisition.
With over a decade of experience in marketing and corporate communications, Amanda is a results-oriented professional, well-versed in integrated marketing strategies, digital transformation, creative content marketing, data analytics, and stakeholder engagement. She has played pivotal roles in various marketing teams, leading and executing successful campaigns across industries such as FMCG, e-commerce, advocacy, and now banking.
Before her transition to the banking sector with FCMB, Amanda held the position of Head of Client Service and Team Lead for Diageo at WildFusion, Nigeria’s pioneering digital marketing agency. In this role, she focused on building and sustaining digital brand equity for her clients. Amanda directed and managed strategic digital campaigns for a diverse portfolio, which included six Diageo Nigeria brands like Guinness, 11 Unilever Nigeria brands, three Olam Nigeria brands, and several other project-based clients. Her work consistently delivered tactical solutions that integrated innovative marketing techniques, driving customer engagement and increasing brand market share.
Amanda’s expertise in developing and executing forward-thinking marketing campaigns has been instrumental in achieving significant customer acquisition, expanding share of voice, and ensuring a solid return on investment for the brands she has worked with.
Academically, Amanda holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Benin and a Mini MBA from the Institute of Business Management. She is also a certified digital marketing professional and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in corporate communications at Rome Business School. Outside her professional endeavours, Amanda is deeply passionate about women’s development and empowerment.
