Our Woman Crush Wednesday, Beatrice Eneh is an entrepreneur of global repute. She has worked in various countries, across multiple industries, and currently brings her wealth of experience to the beauty industry. She is the CEO/Founder of Nectar Beauty Hub, Apples and Oranges Total Body Therapy, Ricks and Clare Solutions, and Nectar Beauty Academy, and has established herself as a leading voice in the Nigerian beauty industry.
Having displayed hands-on experience and expertise in all aspects of the beauty industry, especially in distribution and supply chain optimisation, Beatrice has become the preferred partner for multiple international brands. Using this platform, she ensures individuals working in the beauty industry in Africa get the required training and technical skills to compete globally.
She also sponsors the travel and training fees of individuals to obtain international certifications. As the founder of Africa’s Nail Art Competition, she has awarded over ₦20million naira in grants to nail professionals. She’s estimated to have trained and empowered over 1,200 professionals working in the beauty industry.
Beatrice sits on multiple boards, and is renowned as an astute and global business leader. She recently championed the go-to-market strategy for the launch of L’Oréal’s Active Cosmetic Division in Nigeria for CeraVe and La Roche-Posay brands. She was a major shareholder in Somma Professional products, which was manufactured in Chicago, USA, and globally distributed.
She holds an MEng from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA), and an MBA from Lancaster University Management School (UK). The multiple award-winning beauty entrepreneur has been recognised as one of the 100 Most Inspiring Women in Nigeria by The Guardian, and given the Award for Excellence by V-Connect, among others.
A member of several prestigious institutions, Beatrice belongs to the Society for Women Engineers, MIT’s Supply Chain Club, and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals. She is in the steering committee of Run for a Cure Africa (RFCA), and also serves as an executive member of the Professional Beauty Association (PBA) and the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).
