Building a sustainable brand at the age of 23 is hardly what most can boast of in this economic clime, but our Woman Crush Wednesday, Bidemi Zackariyau, is living, breathing proof of this possibility.
Starting her PR agency, LSFPR, at the age of 23, the young entrepreneur boasts of an unparallel success in the six years she’s been in business. Founding The Luxe Digest, a pan-African luxury content platform, is another crop of achievement that goes into her impressive resume.
In 2015, she was recognized as one of the leading “under 25” female entrepreneurs in Nigeria by SME100. In 2016, she was awarded the Future Awards Africa Prize for media enterprise. This year, she was recognized as one of the 100 most influential women in Nigeria by Leading Ladies Africa and recently, she was listed as one of Forbes Africa under 30 in Business. Also recently, her PR agency snagged the award for Campaign and Idea of the Year – conducted for Darling Nigeria – by the African Excellence Awards.

From the bits she lets in on social media, the businesswoman has been rubbing shoulders with other leading women of the world, like Vigdís Finnbogadóttir, the first woman who was democratically elected as a president, at the Women Leaders Global Forum.
Still thriving, Zakariyau is the poster girl for the successful Nigerian youth.
