As usual, every Wednesday, we bring to you remarkable women doing well in their chosen careers. Our Woman Crush Wednesday, Emmanuella Nnadozie, a marketing and communications professional makes the list. She graduated from Houdegbe North American University, Benin with a degree in Management Information Systems. She also has an MBA, specialising in marketing, from the University of Lagos.
Since the start of her professional career in 2012, Emmanuella has developed a varied wealth of experience in marketing, brand consultation, advertising, and accounts management across entertainment, media, technology and consumer goods sectors.
In 2019, she scaled to the highest point of her career so far as the Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Mavin Global, one of Africa’s biggest record labels. Emmanuella has been exceeding in this role in which she is charged with planning and executing with the formidable team at Mavin Records, the marketing strategy of some of Afrobeats most successful music projects. As a key player in the company, her contributions have not gone unnoticed. She has led the building of the brand perception and image of some of Mavin’s most famous acts.
Before working at Mavin Global, Emmanuella served as Marketing Operations Manager at GDM Group, an industry leader in experiential advertising in Nigeria. At GDM, she was responsible for route-to-market strategy and top-line execution on brands such as FanMilk and Milo, as well as the Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu gubernatorial activation campaign, amongst others. This was not her first stint in advertising. Prior to this, she held the position of Deputy Group Head at Noah’s Ark where she handled key business accounts such as the Tolaram Group, Eat’N’Go, GOtv, Simba Group and FC WAMCO.
With such commendable professional skills that are second to none, Emmanuella Nnadozie’s thirst for personal and business growth is incomparable. She pushes herself by leading strategic thinking sessions, collaborating on creating creative solutions, and building long and short-term growth strategies for both business and individual brands.
