Every woman has a story but our Woman Crush Wednesday, Ifeoma Uddoh’s story leaves an indelible mark teaching us lessons on how to dream big and take our place as game changers. She is a social entrepreneur and the founder of the first fintech for women in Nigeria – Shecluded.

Ifeoma was raised by a single mother after her father died. Despite the loss so early in her life, Ifeoma moved forward undettered. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in industrial mathematics and a master’s degree in management science and operations research, and went on to amass over a decade of career experience in strategy consulting, analytics and seed funding notably at PwC and IROKO Partners Ltd, amongst others.
While working in seed funding, Ifeoma became fully aware of the difficulties faced by women in accessing finance, and launched Shecluded in 2019 to help assist female entrepreneurs with the capital and resources to grow.

Shecluded has been recognised for its work within a short space of time. In 2020, it became associated with the UK Tech Hub initiative, and in 2021 was selected for the NASDAQ Milestone Makers programme which focuses on reducing inequalities.
For her involvement in gender-lens financing, Ifeoma has been featured on several entrepreneurship panels and master classes hosted by First Bank, EDC, FinTech Asia, Global Entrepreneurship Week, John Hopkins University, and Tekedia Institute. Most recently, she spoke on owning one’s financial journey at the Pride Women Conference which aims to enhance the well-being of women in society.
Pride Magazine Nigeria could not have asked for a better Woman Crush Wednesday; Ifeoma is truly a big inspiration to every woman.
