Our Woman Crush Wednesday, Ifeyinwa (Ify) Okafor is a woman who shows that it’s possible to thrive both at home and in the workplace. She wears many hats and wears them well. She’s a Certified Wholeness Coach, IT Professional, Associate Family Life Systems Practitioner, and mother of four. With 17 years of experience at the crossroads of technology and purposeful living, she is helping people make sense of life’s demands while staying true to what matters most.
At the heart of Ify’s work is a desire to see individuals lead full, meaningful lives without letting either their careers or families fall by the wayside. Through her role at The Wholeness School, USA, she supports clients in taking a fresh look at their routines, thoughts, and priorities, guiding them towards a version of success that includes peace of mind, strong values, and authentic connections.
She co-founded The Digital Parenting School, a platform that helps parents raise children who can engage with technology wisely. In a world where digital devices often pull families apart, Ify offers a roadmap for using technology as a tool for connection rather than conflict.
By day, she leads IT operations as the Data Centre Infrastructure Manager at the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), overseeing high-stakes projects and contributing to national progress. Even in this demanding role, she manages to remain deeply rooted in her values, proving that work and home life need not be at odds.
Ify’s approach is refreshingly practical, grounded in faith, thoughtful planning, and a clear sense of purpose. She doesn’t just talk about balance; she lives it.
Outside work, Ify mentors young people, gets lost in books, dances to her favourite tunes, and tends to her garden, all reflections of her belief that life is to be lived fully, not just managed.
Pride Magazine Nigeria celebrates Ify Okafor, a woman whose life is a powerful reminder that we can be ambitious without being overwhelmed, present without being too perfect, and successful without losing sight of what matters.
