She is the Founder and CEO of The Akachi Group, a consultancy that promotes the creativity, sustainable growth, and culture of African-focused brands.
With her forte in storytelling and strategy, Nneji has held various positions at H&M, General Motors, Live Nation, and Beats by Dre, and helped the companies reimagine global sustainability narratives, envisioning a better future for present and future generations.
Born in Columbus, Ohio, USA, this award-winning marketing executive is now Lagos-based running several brands. Nneji is the owner and lead designer of House of Akachi, a luxury fashion and accessories brand. Being the creative that she is, Nneji fuses contemporary art and sustainability in all her collections through the use of upcycled fabrics and traditional African weaving practices.
Nneji is also the founder of African L’homme, a digital media publication for men living in Africa and its diaspora, with a focus on the continent’s fashion, style, and culture. She is also the Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of ILERA Apothecary, an organic and vegan skincare line championing the use of shea butter, baobab and other native ingredients from cooperatives in Nigeria and Ghana.
