Our Woman Crush Wednesday, Tochy Emereole is a results-focused marketer who is shaping how brands grow and connect across the continent. She’s the kind of marketer who doesn’t just run campaigns, she builds systems, drives growth, and leaves behind a solid track record that speaks for itself.
Currently leading marketing for Quidax’s API Business, Tochy is responsible for turning technical products into practical tools that businesses use. Her approach has helped the company attract hundreds of active merchants and generate millions of dollars in transactions, all in just one year. She’s also behind key partnerships and regional sponsorships across Africa, all while managing a compact team that consistently delivers big results.
Tochy’s career spans nearly a decade across fintech, e-commerce, and edtech. She’s worked with startups and global brands, always with one goal in mind: to create impact that outlives the hype. As a marketing consultant for Temu, she helped the global e-commerce platform become the most downloaded app in Nigeria within three months. Revenue followed quickly, and so did results.
She’s also helped launch platforms like MyShopLauncher, onboarding more than 4,000 merchants in six weeks, and led the growth of a four-country affiliate program at IM Mastery Academy. Her work is part of a bigger shift in how marketing is being done across Sub-Saharan Africa, with a focus on measurable outcomes, data-driven strategy, and regional relevance.
Tochy comes well-equipped. She holds two Master’s degrees, including an MBA in International Business, and is a Chartered Marketer with credentials from the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK. On top of that, she’s collected a wide range of certifications in project management, data analysis, digital strategy, economics, and more. Her edge lies in how she balances big-picture thinking with practical execution.
Through her fast-growing platform, Tochy’s POV, she simplifies marketing for business owners, marketers, and anyone curious about how things work behind the scenes. Her take on business is bold, thoughtful, sometimes funny, and always clear. She encourages professionals to look beyond vanity metrics and build with long-term purpose.
She also invests in others. Tochy sits on the board of the African Women Founders Summit (AWFS), co-founded The Spotlight Podcast, and is a founding member of Hersynergy Tribe, where she mentors upcoming creatives and marketing professionals. Her work continues to influence how women and young people see their place in business.
When she’s not developing strategy or reviewing data, she’s likely curled up with a good book, creating content, dancing with her child, or watching a Netflix series with the curiosity of a campaign analyst. Pride Magazine Nigeria is proud to be affiliated to Tochy and cheers her to more wins.
