With a fantastic line-up of speakers, business pitch contest, exhibition, and panel discussion session, the second edition of the Youth Revive Conference, which has the theme “Leveraging Technology for Empowerment and Development”, will provide young men and women with key business and career tools to cope in a world that has dramatically changed over the past year.
“Technology has been a major tool for economic and social transformation in recent times as businesses and careers have been defined and redefined with technology at its fulcrum,” said Patrick Alasha, Convener of Youth Revive Conference 2.0. “We want this edition to serve as a platform for decision making for the undecided, for young people to become conscious of their business and social environment and learn from others who have successfully dealt with and overcame similar career and business challenges.”
Princess Olufunmi Ehuwa also known as Lagos Foremost Aganyin Chick, is a Lawyer and the Founder/CEO of Tasty Corridors, will Lead the session on leveraging technology tools for small and medium business development.
Other forum discussants for the 2021 edition are:
Sabastine Enechi, Founder/CEO of Shago Payments Ltd, a payment technology company setting the pace for digital financial inclusion for the unbanked in Nigeria, will join the forum as he shares his story on technology as a tool for alleviating social challenges.
Adeniyi Oluwabunmi, Founder/CEO Oatek Tecnologies Ltd and Co-Founder Shago Payments Ltd; will join in the discussion for the panel session.
Chinedu Nnadi, an experienced merchant banker currently with Nova Merchant Bank Ltd; a leader in the merchant banking space.
Yemisi Lanre-Idowu, ace broadcast journalist with the BBC and former business correspondent at Television Continental TVC will moderate the panel session.
The Youth Revive Conference was initiated to reawaken the consciousness of young people and aid proper decision-making in their chosen careers and business endeavor in a bid to further alleviate unemployment and underemployment. The 2021 edition is set for Saturday, July 3.
The event will be a hybrid one, with a limited number of seats available at the Hall ST Francis Catholic Church Oregun, Lagos, Nigeria in keeping with COVID-19 protocols, as well as live-streamed on the Conference YouTube channel.
