Zohi Taglit’s Resort 2018 Collection Is A Pink Affair

Zohi Taglit presents its 2018 Resort collection titled “La Conquerant”. The collection is inspired by the confidence, beauty and passion of contemporary women.

Reflecting on the collection, creative director, Samantha H. Dollar, had this to say, “As a mother, people and society expect you to look a certain way. The collection was made for women who want to be confident in their skin and wear clothes that reflect their inner confidence and beauty, regardless of how far they’ve come in this journey called life.”

For the collection, Samantha explores her fascination for the colour pink; a colour associated with feminity and fragility. She shows how pink (and its different shades) can be interpreted to showcase the intensity, tenderness and power that only a woman can exude.

Several pieces from the collection are spliced with neutral hues – black and white – infused in form of drapes, tulle, Swarovski stones, ruffles, lace and petals. This reflects the multifacetedness of a confident woman; she can effortlessly go from work-chic to night-out-elegant.
