Every lady desires flawless skin, the type that makes her glow and confident. Nothing makes her more conscious than having dark knuckles, knees and elbows. Genetics, dirts, non-exfoliation, improper hydration, injury and other factors can contribute to dark skin areas. However, it is possible to give those dark skin areas the required glow and beauty with natural products. These include:
- Coconut Oil

Coconut oil penetrates the skin more than any oil. It has the ability to lighten parts of your skin. Simply mix 1 tablespoon each of coconut oil and walnut powder into a paste. Rub the paste on places you want to lighten and leave for about three minutes before rinsing off. Ensure you rub coconut oil on the affected areas daily before bedtime. For best results, use three times a week.
- Potato

Potatoes have bleaching properties which brighten dull skin. Cut a fresh Irish potato into pieces and rub on the dark areas of your skin. Leave the juice on the skin for 20 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water. Do this morning and at night for two months for best results.
- Aloe Vera

The Aloe Vera gel has healing properties, UV protection and skin lightening abilities. Simply extract the gel from the aloe Vera plant, then apply to affected skin areas. Leave for about 20 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. Do this in the morning and at night regularly for best results.
- Turmeric powder

Turmeric powder is a natural purifier as it can restore the skin’s glow. Mix 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, 2 tablespoon milk and 1 teaspoon honey together until it forms a paste. Apply on dark skin areas and massage for three minutes. Then leave on for about fifteen minutes and rinse off with water.
