Nigerian-British rapper, Weird MC has said she will never condone and support bullying in any form, stating that she has had to stand up for people, male and female either whilst growing up and even in the professional space.
The 51-year-old was reacting to those who misunderstood a comment she made on the post where she said bullying was normal in the sense that it is something that takes place on a regular basis. This implied it was an acceptable norm.

She apologised for any distress caused, adding that it was never her intention to imply that bullying is right. Here is her post on Instagram:
“It has recently come to my notice that there is a story making the rounds implying that I condone and support “bullying” I am absolutely stunned. I will never ever condone bullying of any kind for years I have stood up for people male and female either whilst growing up and even in the professional space. A big sister of mine recently put up a post via her Instagram handle and I sent in a response. I sincerely believe that my comment was taken out of context I sent in a comment saying bullying was normal in the sense that it is something that takes place on a regular basis but never ever to insinuate that it should be NORM. I apologise for any distress caused I repeat it was never my intention to imply that bullying is right. Thanks ever so much to those who have stood up for me and thank you for bringing this to my notice. Yours Sincerely Adeshola Idowu [Weird MC] @musicmagnate Thanks ever so much.”
