Twitterville is ablaze with Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele Bello trending. Funny enough, it really has nothing to do with her.
According to Guardian, two hotels, Prudent Hotel in Eleme and Etemeteh Hotel in Onne violated the lockdown order in Rivers State and were demolished thereafter.
This was after River State governor, Nyesom Woke directed that hotels close down during this Coronavirus pandemic. He had previously, on May 7, warned that:
“From tomorrow any hotel that operates will be brought down. Those who disobey the directive will face the consequences.”
This got people debating Wike’s actions on Twitter. Somehow they dragged the “Jenifa’s diary’ actress into the equation, mentioning the time she was arrested and charged to court by the Lagos State government for disobeying the lockdown order.
In essence, they are saying those who criticised the Lagos State government then are in full support of Wike’s moves.
