Njideka Nwosu-Iheme, the daughter of former Rivers State Governor, Peter Odili and Justice Mary Odili, has been sworn in as a Judge of the Federal High Court. She was among the 22 new judges sworn in by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Honourable Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad on Tuesday 23rd November 2021. Sweden’s first-ever female prime minister, Magdalena Andersson has resigned just hours after she was appointed. She was announced as a leader on Wednesday but resigned after her coalition partner quit the government and her budget failed to pass. Movie producer and director, Bolanle Austen-Peters has gained the rights to produce a biopic on the legendary Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti. The film, titled “Funmilayo: The Lioness of Lisabi,” is scheduled to be released in 2022/23.
