“You are in my thoughts always”, Anny says as she smiles at him and Zik spreads out his arms in a loving warm invite. Anny rest her head on his broad shoulders as he brushes his lips across her ears in a gentle whisper and tells her – “you are my thoughts”.
Anny and Zik started out seeking friendship that was devoid of expectations. Just like any other acquaintance, it was plain and simple. But it took a turn that wasn’t so simple when they found themselves so engrossed in each other that they could hardly stay apart.
Their love, as it grew stronger, only became a reminder of how complicated and unacceptable it was. They both found out that providence had them in different directions in life. Their lives were already committed to other people, but their hearts were for each other. How can this be? How can two hearts woven in love not be with each other?
The road to happiness often is not so easy and simple. How is it that even when you think you have found your missing rib and the apple of your eye, you then meet another person that has you asking “where have you been all my life?”
My Take: only a fortunate few embark on life’s journey with their true love. This is due to tradition, superstitious beliefs, economic reasons, family status, educational background, and so on and so forth!
However, the lawn seems greener on the other side from where one stands, and eventually one only discovers it’s not really as green as it looked. Anyway, time they say sorts out things…
Till I write again, I love for reading.
