There was a time when thinned-out brows were trendy, nowadays everybody is going fuller. Getting inspiration from beauty influencers, the everyday chic lady does not want to be left out. How do you get fuller brows? Keep scrolling, we got you covered especially for ladies who are not naturally endowed with thick brows:
- Brush your brows
First things first, try to brush your brows upwards and carve the arch of your face using a clean brush or spoolie (a little mascara wand-style brush). Use this time to really look at your brows in relation to the rest of your face.
- Consider your look
What does your face need from your brows? Maybe your arch needs to be lifted to open the face up; or, you might want to elongate the brows at the ends to better frame your eyes. Or, your brows are just fine the way they are but need a little brow to hold them in place.
- Fill in the gaps
If your brows are not connecting, first fill in the gaps between hairs. Always use an upward motion to mimic the hair. Using a cotton bud and spoolie, brush up and out from the front of the brow, and clean up any unwanted product from underneath. Have a look at the mirror. Make sure you have the desired results with your brows.
- Use a boy brow
Use the Boy Brow wand directly onto the brow, starting a third of the way in around the start of the arch. Apply most of the product on the brush in the area that needs defining the most – keep the front of the brow fluffy and not too thick using this product.
- Use highlighter
Using a highlighter would open up the eye area. Beauty experts advise using highlight and contouring techniques to manipulate any aspect of the face. For smaller eyes, a pop of highlighter on the centre of an eyelid exaggerates the space; a highlight in the corner of the eye makes the eyes look further apart; and a pearly shimmer in the waterline opens up the eye completely. Do what works for your eyes.
