A Christian movie, Snare, is playing up the memory of late Yoruba theatre and music icon, Hubert Ogunde.
The £1 million thriller, according to promoters, features the founder of the Deeper Life Church Ministry, Pastor Williams F. Kumuyi, who plays the role of a pastor in the movie, which they noted has been in production since 2010.
Producer of the flick, David Ogunde said Snare is based on the story of an intelligent gentleman who faces the consequences of his character flaws. “Though he wants to change the society, which he views as poor and full of diseases, his decision meets a brick wall as he has a flaw in his character. He is attracted to the finer things of life. The company which hires him takes advantage of that and draws him into the ‘snare’, explained Ogunde.
Other actors in the film include Steven Baldwin, Phil Tan Carl Cameron and Branston Cosby (from the illustrious acting family of Bill Cosby), among others.
