OneCard, a technology-based mobile top-up company headquartered in Lagos, is partnering the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in an attempt to launch its multiple service recharge cards. The partnership will offer Nigerians access to top-up solutions nationwide.
OneCard allows users top-up various services on multiple platforms – from mobile phones and toll fees, to cable TV subscriptions and fuel cards – offering unique, secure alternatives for topping up for individuals, corporate bodies and retail customers, both online and via the recently launched Direct top-Up franchise.
Founder/director of OneCard, Olurinde Lafe, said: “The initiative is borne out of the company’s commitment to making life easier for Nigerians via easy –to-use and accessible top-up solution.”
Lafe added that partnering with the church is an opportunity for the church to ensure that more Nigerians access the company’s solutions even in their place of worship.
The OneCard recharge card comes in different denominations of N100, N200, N400, N500, N750, N1000 and N1500, and can be purchased from recharge vendors in Nigeria. The cards which can be loaded on any network makes it convenient for Nigerians to recharge their phone without having to locate scratch cards, vendors or pay stations.
OneCard plans to produce, distribute and sell multiple service recharge cards that are customised with the church’s images.
With minimum investment, a Direct Top-Up franchise partner benefits numerously; a partner can gain control over exclusive territories like local government areas, communities, corporate spaces, manage inventory of any size, generate sales at multiple locations nationwide, track all transactions, etc.
A single transaction can enable a customer top-up from N50 to N50, 000 across various services. In addition, Direct Top–Up franchise owners can make up to a 576 percent return on investment, 173 percent minimum, opening up a N130 billion prepaid market to Nigerian entrepreneurs.
